Peter Norman appointed as New Chairman of ATG

Aktiebolaget Trav och Galopp (ATG), the former Swedish horse racing monopoly, has announced the appointment of Peter Norman as its new chairman. Norman takes over from Bo Netz, who served as chairman for five years and as a board member for a total of 12 years.

Peter Norman has a background as the former Minister of Financial Markets in Sweden and previously held positions as the chief executive of Seventh AP Fund and director of the Riksbank at Sveriges Riksbank. He currently serves as chairman of the board of Oscar Properties Holding and the Royal Academy of Music, and is a member of Nasdaq Stockholm.

Norman expressed his commitment to ATG's mission of responsible gaming and the long-term development of the sport of trotting and galloping. He looks forward to collaborating with the board and management in shaping the company's future.

Outgoing chairman Bo Netz reflected on his time with ATG, noting the significant changes that have occurred in the Swedish gaming market. He praised ATG's strong position as the largest and most profitable gambling company in the commercial license market in Sweden and wished the company success under Peter Norman's leadership.

In addition to the appointment of Peter Norman, ATG announced the election of two new government board members. Eva Listi from the Ministry of Finance and Marie Osberg, a board member of Almi and Collector Bank, will replace Agneta Gille and Birgitta Losman on the ATG board.
