FanDuel, a subsidiary of Flutter Entertainment, has finalized the acquisition of BeyondPlay, a specialist in online gambling player engagement. The acquisition signifies FanDuel's strategic move to enhance its iGaming division, particularly FanDuel Casino. Financial details of the transaction remain undisclosed.

Established in 2021, BeyondPlay is a B2B technology venture focused on providing iGaming software tailored for player engagement. With licenses in key jurisdictions like the UK, Malta, and Sweden, BeyondPlay collaborates with operators globally, offering innovative solutions to enhance player experiences.

Among BeyondPlay's flagship products is a customizable jackpot management system, enabling operators to create tailored jackpot campaigns. Additionally, the company offers multiplayer software allowing users to engage in shared casino game sessions, pooling their stakes for a more interactive experience.

Karolina Pelc, CEO of BeyondPlay, expressed her satisfaction with the acquisition, emphasizing the journey from the company's inception to becoming part of a leading global iGaming entity like FanDuel. Pelc highlighted the validation of BeyondPlay's vision and technology, anticipating the collaboration with FanDuel Casino to amplify their impact worldwide.

FanDuel Casino's managing director, Asif Noifeld, shared his enthusiasm for the acquisition, emphasizing the company's commitment to enhancing its iGaming offerings. Noifeld praised BeyondPlay's innovative jackpot and multiplayer technology, foreseeing its integration as a key enhancement to FanDuel's customer experience.

Since its inception, BeyondPlay has garnered support from investors and industry professionals, securing €5.0 million in funding last April. Investors include Bettor Capital, Tigrim Capital, and Winforton Investments, with industry veterans like Mark Blandford and Alexandre Tomic also backing the venture.

Bettor Capital, known for its focus on real-money iGaming investments, has been a longstanding supporter of BeyondPlay. Notably, in 2023, Bettor Capital acquired LeoVegas's 25% share in BeyondPlay for €1.9 million, further solidifying its commitment to the company's growth trajectory.

Formerly known as SharedPlay, BeyondPlay rebranded to reflect its evolution and expanding market presence. The acquisition by FanDuel marks a significant milestone for BeyondPlay, underscoring its ascent in the competitive iGaming landscape.
